Villa Marina Cottage, has been comprehensively though sympathetically modernised as a self-catering holiday cottage, while retaining its original character. It sleeps five persons. On the ground floor, there is a bedroom with single and bunk beds, and also the shower room and WC. Upstairs, there is a double bedroom, the dining area and separate kitchen. This gives on to the sitting room which has a 40-inch flat screen television (satellite TV), a DVD player and small DVD library.

There is also an open fireplace (coal is provided) with a century-old overmantle. From the sitting room, a large south-facing picture window with a patio door opens on to a first-floor balcony, giving a magnificent uninterrupted view across the sea to the Isle of Arran , with the Cowal hills to the north, and the Cloch Lighthouse and the Renfrewshire hills to the south.
Guests are welcome to use of the south-facing front garden of Villa Marina, with its spectacular seafront views. There is a raised terrace seated for six persons, ideal for leisurly lunches and evening barbecues (barbecue available on request). There is also a fifteen-foot above-ground swimming pool, which is chlorinated and filtered, which guests may use in the summer season. A welcome pack containing tea, coffee, etc. is provided.
Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided. Heating, (apart from the coal fire) and cooking is electric. Children and pets are welcome.
