In addition to local hotels, the village has a range of shops, butcher, mini-market, post office etc., as well as the Lighthouse pub and a coffee shop, both of which offer good value quality meals. The Bistro at the Rosneath Caravan park has a well-appointed bar restaurant. There are Chinese and Indian takeaways in Garelochhead, which deliver for a small charge.
